"But A Whisper" is part of the Masked Series by Morgan Jones, featuring two ballerinas wearing fox masks sitting on an antique sofa. A sleeping fox lies at their feet, and a magpie is perched on a nearby table adorned with afternoon tea. Above the figures, swirls intersect, with balloons held by each ballerina floating just out of reach.

Each original piece of art is made by Morgan from start to finish, including the wood panel and floating frame. After mounting the image to the wood panel, Morgan carefully applies several layers of mixed media embellishments such as gel medium, varnish, 12K white gold leaf, and paint.
