The Secret

"The Secret" is a mixed-media piece from Morgan Jones's Masked Series, featuring two ballerinas in masks seated on a vintage sofa—one in black, the other in white—engaged in a private moment. A fox rests beside them, and two balloons, one white and one red, float above with swirls echoing the whispered exchange. A magpie perches atop the couch, completing the scene, rich with hidden narratives.

Each original piece of art is made by Morgan from start to finish, including the wood panel and floating frame. After mounting the image to the wood panel, Morgan carefully applies several layers of mixed media embellishments such as gel medium, varnish, 12K white gold leaf, and paint.
