"Let Them Eat Cake" from the Masked Series by Morgan Jones depicts a ballerina in an owl mask seated, holding a teacup, with a raccoon at her side. Each original piece of art is made by Morgan from start to finish, including the wood panel and floating frame. After mounting the image to the wood panel, Morgan carefully applies several layers of mixed media embellishments such as gel medium, varnish, 12K white gold leaf, and paint.
