The Looking Glass

"The Looking Glass" from the Animals Series by Morgan Jones depicts a moody, darkened wooded clearing where a Fox and a Rabbit have stumbled upon an old episode of Betty Boop playing on a vintage TV mysteriously placed in the middle of the woods. The soft, bluish glow of the TV illuminates the unlikely pair as they sit captivated. Set on top of the TV is a cake and tea setting.

Wood Panel: Quarter Inch Baltic Birch Topper With Select Pine Sides. 

Frame: Solid Walnut

Each original piece of art is made by Morgan from start to finish, including the wood panel and floating frame. After mounting the image to the wood panel Morgan carefully applies several layers of mixed media embellishments such as gel medium, varnish, 22K moon gold leaf, and paint. 

Customization on frame colour, sizing, and photo editing (including the addition or removal of animals) are all welcome and should be discussed with Morgan directly.
