A Mid Winter's Dream

"A Mid Winter's Dream" from the Masked Series by Morgan Jones features a ballerina in a white tutu and owl mask seated in an old, weathered room in an abandoned farmhouse. A fox sleeps peacefully at her feet while a blue balloon floats nearby, and intricate swirls fill the space above her. Each original piece of art is made by Morgan from start to finish, including the wood panel and floating frame. After mounting the image to the wood panel, Morgan carefully applies several layers of mixed media embellishments such as gel medium, varnish, 12K white gold leaf, and paint.
